On the story idea, Vidyut Jamwal speaks and says, 'A friend has spoken to me about this idea. We know India fought Pakistan in 1971, and we defeated them, but we don't have much detail about it or about the channels or the integral parts of them. We even don't know we fought for 13 days and divided the country into two. We don't celebrate it so much. We don't know anything about intelligence. We only know CID and ED, which is the number one secret service that needs to be talked about."
Anupam Kher said, "I was very thrilled when Vidyut came to me with the movie idea. I knew about the 1971 war but had no idea of the incidents. I am very fond of Vidyut, and the role is very fascinating, so I wanted to be a part of this movie."
