as posted by the channelThe NCB and the Indian Navy have seized 2500 kg of drugs from Cochin waters. The drugs are estimated to be worth around Rs. 12,000 crore. One suspected Pakistani national has been detained as part of Operation Samudragupta. This is the third major ceasefire affected by the NCB with respect to merit and traffic on the southern route in the last one and a half years. The NCB has said that the intelligence wing of the navy got information about the movement of the mother ship carrying a large quantity of drugs based on the inputs that the large seagoing vessel was intercepted by the Indian navy.
