In this episode of Beyond The Headline, host Tamanna Inamdar will discuss how the Pakistan Cricket Board will present the Board of Control for Cricket in India with yet another demand amid the never-ending Asia Cup 2023 and ODI World Cup 2023 controversy. PCB Chairman Najam Sethi intends to ask BCCI President Jay Shah for a "written guarantee" about the Indian cricket team's participation in the 2025 ICC Champions Trophy before deciding whether or not their national team will play its ODI World Cup 2023 games in India. The 2023 World Cup is scheduled to begin on October 5, and the BCCI has chosen Ahmedabad, Chennai, Bengaluru, and Kolkata as probable venues for the matches. Because the ACC has not yet approved the proposed "Hybrid Model" for the next Asia Cup, in which Pakistan would play its games at home while India will play its matches in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Sethi has been urged to take a harsh position. We are joined by the PCB chief who will be expressing his views on this issue. "The problem begins with India because India refuses to play Pakistan," stated Najam Sethi, PCB Chairperson.
