YouTube Description
as posted by the channelIn today's episode of The Urban Debate, Shreya Dhoundial will be discussing the extradition of 26/11 mastermind Thawwur Rana. The U.S. Court of Appeals has given the nod to the extradition of Pakistani-born Canadian businessman Tahawwur Rana, who is accused in the 26/11 Mumbai attack case, which killed over 160 people. Rana allegedly sheltered and provided cover to David Hedley in 2008, despite knowing that David was involved in lashkar. Hedley was the person who carried out the reconnaissance of all the target spots. During the extradition hearing, federal lawyers argued that Rana was aware of the 26/11 plan, including the target, and hence was part of the conspiracy.
We are joined by a few panellists. "Today is a big day for us. We're confident that the perpetrators are being brought to book and will receive the highest penalty." said 26/11 attack survivor Dilip Mehta.
