3:42Now PlayingBreaking News: On May 20, the CBI submitted a chargesheet in the Pul Bangash case involving the 1984 anti-Sikh riots against Congress leader Jagdish Tytler. On November 1, 1984, a day following the murder of the then-prime minister Indira Gandhi, three people were slain and a gurdwara was set on fire in the Pul Bangash area. In its chargesheet submitted before a special court here, the CBI claimed Tytler "incited, instigated, and provoked the mob assembled at Pul Bangash Gurdwara Azad Market" on November 1, 1984, which led to the burning down of the gurdwara and the deaths of three Sikhs-Thakur Singh, Badal Singh, and Guru Charan Singh as well as the destruction of the building.
