2:50Now PlayingBreaking News: After a number of athletes at the training facility in Solalgaon accused swimming instructor Mrinal Basumatary of sexual harassment, Mrinal Basumatary has been charged by the Sports Authority of India, Assam for suspected sexual harassment of young female athletes. A first information report (FIR) was promptly filed at a police station in Guwahati against Basumatary in response to the complaint. The problem was reported on May 18 in the afternoon by a female weightlifting instructor, who was thereafter followed by female athletes, the SAI officials said in a statement they issued on Friday. It said that because the majority of complainants are young women, a police complaint was made the same day to Guwahati's Paltan Bazar police station to file a FIR against Basumatary.
