He is an accused in Punjab Nabha jail break case and was connected to Khalistan Liberation Force. Kashmir Singh Galwaddi and gangsters Vicky Gounder, Gurpreet Singh, Neeta Deol and Amandeep Dhotian had escaped from the Nabha jail in November 2017. In a case brought by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) in accordance with sections 120-B, 121, and 121-A of the IPC and sections 17, 18, and 18-B and 38 of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, 1967, monetary reward has been declared against the wanted defendant, Kashmir Singh Galwaddi alias Balbir Singh.
