3:07Now PlayingBreaking News: On Tuesday, the Gujarat High Court issued a temporary halt to further legal action against Delhi Lieutenant Governor (LG) VK Saxena in the matter of an alleged attack on social activist Medha Patkar in 2002, which is still pending before a trial court. Saxena successfully appealed a metropolitan court's decision to deny his request to keep the trial against him on hold until he holds the position of Lieutenant Governor of the National Capital Territory of Delhi. Justice MK Thakker granted interim relief to Saxena in the form of a stay on further proceedings against him in the trial court until pendency and final disposition of his plea.
