Stalin requested the help of Union Home Minister Amit Shah to order Amul to stop buying milk from the Aavin milk shed area of Tamil Nadu with immediate effect, claiming that doing so would lead to "unhealthy competition" between cooperatives that buy and sell milk and milk products in different regions of the nation. In Karnataka, people and opposition politicians have been criticizing the Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation (GCMMF). This followed the cooperative's announcement that it will begin selling its goods in the state and use the brand name "Amul" for its dairy products. The Karnataka Milk Federation (KMF) was the primary opponent. In Karnataka, it offers dairy products under the "Nandini" brand. To defend KMF's position in the market controlled by the state, protests are being staged. Amul's entrance is perceived as an effort to step on KMF. A few panelists join us to express their views on this issue. "Tamil Nadu 'Aavin' has been in the state of Tamil Nadu in the process of producing milk and allied products of milk from the year 1981," stated A Saravanan, DMK.
