7:21Now PlayingMany VietJet passengers travelling to Ho Chi Minh City were left stranded at the Mumbai airport at approximately midnight on Thursday (May 25), and a tumultuous scene was observed after they remained there for more than 10 hours. Despite the lengthy delay, passengers claimed that they were not given any hotel rooms or meals. Footage from the airport showed irate passengers shouting insults at the airline, and some were even seen getting into argumentative exchanges with airport staff. Up to 300 VietJet passengers were left stuck for almost 10 hours at the Mumbai airport. In accordance with DGCA regulations, if a flight is delayed for an extended period of time, the airline in question is required to provide lodging and food for the passengers. As neither was given, the scene became heated and the airport became chaotic. Keep an eye on Mirror Now for the latest developments.
