For the search and rescue effort, many teams have already departed for the area. CPRO Southern Railway said that a number of carriages are believed to have derailed on Friday night. According to the Special Relief Commissioner Office, Collector Balasore has also been instructed to travel to the location to make the necessary arrangements and notify the SRC if any more state-level assistance is required.
