The government airlines held a meeting today. The meeting was to check on the soaring air prices. Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia chaired an important meeting with airline representatives today. In the meeting, the government also discussed capacity development with an eye on peak summer seasons. The government requested that the airlines decrease the fare prices so that they could be affordable for most of the citizens.
We are joined by a few panellists. "Air travel is not a luxury; at times it is a mere necessity. There should be a cap on airfare price surges," said Ashwini Kakkar. Watch in!
