Last time, India had reached in the finals but was beaten by New Zealand. This time the Indian team is looking for glory and their first WTC trophy. The Indian captain said in the media briefing that he wants to win ICC championship. ""Every captain wishes to win the championship... I, too, want to win the championship... It would be fantastic if I could win one or two titles... The next five days will be difficult for us, but we recognise that winning the championship is not simple," Rohit said during the press conference ahead of the WTC final 2023.
