Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia chaired an important meeting with airline representatives today. In the meeting, the government also discussed capacity development with an eye on peak summer seasons. The government requested that the airlines decrease the fare prices so that they could be affordable for most of the citizens. But despite the Aviation Minister’s stern warning, airfares continue to soar in key travel sectors.
