The DGCA stated in a statement that before approving an Indian airline operator's operations to a new international location, they perform an evaluation of their level of preparation. In an effort to make it simpler for them to expand their network to previously underserved areas, the checklist for evaluating a new location has been condensed from 33 points to only 10.
