The transport department has allegedly sent many vehicles to scrapyard without prior notice to the owners. A petition against the unruly behavior has been filed in the court. "My car was impounded in my absence, without any notice & receipt", says a victim Manohar from Delhi. "There's no such overarching rule in other cities of India.. but only for Delhi?
