Bajali district was the most affected, with 2.60 lakh people impacted, followed by Nalbari and Barpeta. Approximately 14,091.90 hectares of cropland were submerged, and 1366 villages across multiple districts were affected. The Brahmaputra River exceeded the danger level in several areas. Relief camps and distribution centers were established, while people sought refuge on roads and highlands. Over 3.5 lakh domestic animals were also affected. Rescue operations involving NDRF, SDRF, and other services saved over 500 individuals. The floods caused breaches in embankments, damage to infrastructure, roads, and bridges.
