Torrential rain and water logging triggered a flood-like situation in Bihar's low-lying areas. Araria, Purnea, Madhepura, Saharsa, Jamui, Katihar, and Banka districts were affected by waterlogging. The state’s capital Patna recorded 53.45 mm of rainfall in 24 hours, according to meteorological data. Patna Municipal Corporation ensured swift drainage despite prolonged heavy rain.
