1:58Now PlayingAmarnath Yatra Suspended | Due to heavy rainfall and the risk of landslides in Jammu and Kashmir, the Amarnath Yatra pilgrimage was temporarily suspended on July 7. No pilgrims are currently allowed to proceed towards the holy shrine via the Baltal and Pahalgam routes. The yatra is expected to resume once the weather conditions improve. Despite the suspension, over 85,000 devotees have already visited the shrine this year, with more than 3,00,000 registered for the pilgrimage. The Amarnath temple cave is located 141 km from Srinagar at an altitude of 12,756 feet.
