The NDRF team has been on the ground working with several authorities to coordinate everything from public announcements to setting up boats for rescue operations and deploying drones to find stranded persons and animals. On Wednesday, the Yamuna in Delhi swelled to an astounding 208.08 metres, shattering the previous record of 207.49 metres established 45 years earlier by a huge margin.
