In this episode of Urban Debate with Shreya Dhoundial, we will be discussing the issue of a family that was burnt alive in Jodhpur. Rajasthan was rocked by a spate of crimes. Mass murder & gangrape in Jodhpur 4 of a family set ablaze, opposition fires at CM Ashok Gehlot. Villagers informed the police after noticing the fire, who rushed to the spot. The entire village rushed to the spot after coming to know about the incident. SP (Jodhpur Rural) Dharmendra Singh Yadav said that the preliminary observation pointed to some family disputes or issues. The victims have been identified as Punaram (60) and his wife Bhanwari Devi (55), who was found lifeless on a cot outside the house, and their daughter-in-law Dhapu (25) and her young daughter Manisha, who were sleeping in a hut nearby. The age of the infant is yet to be confirmed, with conflicting reports stating she was either five years old or a mere six months. We are joined by panelists who share their views.
