Gehlot had earlier in the day tweeted that his three-minute address had been cut from the event that PM Modi would be attending in Rajasthan. He said that he would be able to tweet to welcome him to the state. A few hours later, the PMO denied Gehlot's claims, claiming that he had been invited to the event and that his address had been scheduled according to protocol.
