In troubled Manipur, the gunfights between the two communities have grown regular in the absence of any aggressive measures to disarm the civil society. A new incidence of shooting occurred in the Churachandpur neighbourhood of Kangvai on Thursday, one day after the shooting and burning of Moreh, in which at least two village defence volunteers were hurt in the exchange of fire.
