1. In a conflict that broke out between two groups on Monday during the "Brij Mandal Jalabhishek Yatra" organised by the Bajrang Dal and the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP), at least two home guards were murdered and 10 police officers were injured. The wounds were purportedly caused by gunfire and stone-throwing.

2. Internet connections were shut down, prohibitory orders were put in place, and the state Home Minister requested extra forces from the Centre when communal violence broke out in the area, stating that "3,000-4,000 people were being held hostage in a temple." In the late evening, they were evacuated.

3. In response to skirmishes that occurred in the nearby Nuh district earlier in the day during a religious procession, the Gurugram administration has implemented Section 144 in the district.

4. According to the police, a group of young men stopped the "Brij Mandal Jalabhishek Yatra" of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad at Khedla Mod in Nuh, and threw rocks at the procession. At least four of the procession's cars were burned.
