The situation in the region remains tense, prompting authorities to impose Section 144 in Gurugram, Sonipat, and other NCR towns. Disturbingly, additional incidents of vandalism were reported in Gurgaon's Sector 70, which is a mere 20 km from Delhi. As a result of the violence, six fatalities have been reported, leading to the registration of 41 F.I.R.s and 116 arrests.
