as posted by the channelCalcutta High Court ordered the dismissal of Andaman and Nicobar Chief Secretary Keshav Chandra while imposing a hefty fine of Rs. 5 Lakh on the lieutenant governor DK Joshi of the union territory. The punishments were given in view that there was contempt of court and the authorities have not abided by the judgment of Calcutta HC of December 2022. Both of whom later filed a counter affidavit challenging the judgment. The HC in their order defended the rights of daily wage workers of the union territory, Andaman and Nicobar.
