Top News | It is day 12 of the monsoon session and opposition continues to mount pressure on government to discuss the Manipur issue in the Parliament. Multiple MPs have issued Suspension of Business Notices for discussion on Manipur issue today. Now the Delhi Services Bill has passed the Lok Sabha hurdle and will now be presented in the Rajya Sabha next. The bill will likely be taken in Rajya Sabha on Monday and if passed it will replace the ordinance which allows the L-G to take calls on the transfer and posting of Delhi government officials. The Lok Sabha passed the bill amid the commotion. Opposition mounted stronger rejections but Home Minister Amit Shah reign fire on the opposition parties.
