The National Cadet Corps (NCC) was beaten, purportedly by a ‘senior’, on the campus of Vidya Prasarak Mandal (VPM) in Thane. The incident came to light after a video of the brutal thrashing went viral. Now the Eknath Shinde faction and the NCP faction both visited the college and started the protest, demanding the suspension of the college principle. The college administration said this type of behaviour wouldn't be tolerated by the authorities.
