The cabinet meeting, presided over by Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, also approved the formation of an Education Commission to investigate concerns against private schools, he added. He stated that the Education Commission will be structured similarly to the Health Commission, with a retired judge serving as its chairman. 'We had multiple complaints during the epidemic about private schools raising tuition costs unnecessarily. There were also issues about the syllabus and how the tests were administered.
