A live transmission of the event is also scheduled to begin at 5.20 pm on that day, according to the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO). In order to make a "soft landing" on the Moon's south pole, Chandrayaan-3, the second iteration of the lunar mission series, launched in 2019, successfully established two-way contact with Chandrayaan-2's orbiter on Monday.
