Heavy showers in Shimla triggered landslides and uprooted trees, damaging vehicles and blocking several roads. Shimla continues to be one of the worst affected districts in the state. Waterlogging was also reported in several areas after heavy overnight rain. Landslides and uprooted trees blocked many roads in the city. A total of 227 people have died in rain-related incidents in the state, while 38 are still missing since the onset of the monsoon on June 24.
