In good news for India, a new survey was released ahead of the summit. Pew Research Center survey revealed details about the perception of people in foreign countries. 30,861 Indians and 23 other countries were surveyed between Feb 20 and May 22 for the study. According to the report, 79% of Indians hold a favourable view of PM Modi, including 55% with very favourable view. 68% Indians believe India's global influence surged in recent years.
