9:26Now PlayingWorld Cup 2023: India skipper Rohit Sharma and chief selector Ajit Agarkar announced India's 15-member provisional squad for the ODI World Cup 2023. Rohit is set to lead the team while Hardik Pandya will serve as his deputy. India picked five batters including Rohit Sharma, Shubman Gill, Virat Kohli, Shreyas Iyer, and Suryakumar Yadav. Meanwhile, Hardik Pandya, Ravindra Jadeja, Shardul Thakur, and Axar Patel will be four all-rounders. For wicketkeeping, India has picked KL Rahul and Ishan Kishan. In the bowling department, India has a blend of Experienced and young Bowlers. Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Shami, and Mohammed Siraj will lead the pace attack while Kuldeep Yadav will lead the spin department. Notably, India can make unlimited changes to their squad till 28th September.
