2:27Now PlayingTop News | A new round of violence in the conflict-torn state of Manipur in less than a week resulted in the deaths of three men when armed criminals opened fire on them in the Kangpokpi area of that state. The event happened between the villages of Ireng and Karam Vaiphei in the Kanggui section of the district at about 8:30 in the morning. To find the culprits, security officers stationed in the region have started searching operations. The suspects are thought to have fled the scene in a car after carrying out the attack at the borders of the Kangpokpi and Imphal West districts. The deceased were named as Satneo Tuboi, Ngamminlun Lhouvum (both from K Ponlen), and Ngamminlun Kipgen of Lhangkichoi by the Indigenous Tribal Leaders Forum (ITLF), a Kuki umbrella organisation.
