An all-party delegation of Tamil Nadu led by Water resources minister Duraimurugan will meet Union Jal Shakti Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat on Monday. The leaders are expected to seek his intervention in ensuring Karnataka releases 5,000 cusecs of water to Tamil Nadu till September 28 as per the direction of Cauvery Water Regulation Committee. Earlier, this week Karnataka deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar had met Jal Shakti minister and submitted a memorandum.
