Three Union Ministers, Narendra Singh Tomar, Prahlad Singh Patel, and Faggan Singh Kulaste, have been included in the list. Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar has been fielded from Dimani, Prahlad Patel (Minister of State for Food Processing Industries and Jal Shakti) from Narsingpur, and Faggan Singh Kulaste (Minister of State for Rural Development and Steel) from Niwas seat. Meanwhile, Congress has slammed the decision to field MPs by saying that it indicates a lack of confidence in its state units. Also, former CM of Madhya Pradesh, and senior Congress leader, Kamal Nath, said that BJP’s double-engine government is going towards double defeat.
