A 12-year-old girl was raped by an auto driver in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh. She walked for 8 km, bleeding and half-naked, looking for help. But no one helped her. A CCTV video shows how a man, who said he was her relative, turned her away. She finally collapsed near an ashram, where an official took her to a hospital and called the police. The police arrested the rapist and said the girl is stable. It is unclear why the CM is dodging questions on the case, and not addressing the issue head-on. Watch!
