22:30Now PlayingIn this episode of Beyond the Headline, anchor Shreya Upadhyaya will be discussing four months ago, in July this year, when three trains crashed in Odisha's Balasore. 296 people were killed in that accident, and many were injured. In October, another deadly train accident took place in Bihar. In the accident, four people died and over 90 were injured. The north-east express moving towards Assam from Delhi derailed near Buxar on Wednesday, and preliminary investigations suggest that there were faults in the track.
We are joined by a few panellists. "There could be a lack of maintenance or high-speed rain running on a slow track. Unlike the Balasore accident, sabotage can't be ruled out because there is a lack of trust in people these days," said Krishan Mitroo. Watch In!
