Originally from Warangal, she was studying in Hyderabad and staying at Brundavan Hostel in Ashok Nagar. The news of her passing quickly spread through the community, prompting local students to protest, attributing the incident to the postponement of the Telangana State Public Service Commission Group II exam. Chanting 'We Want Justice,' they briefly disrupted traffic in the area, which houses numerous coaching centers for competitive exam preparations.
