A court led by Justice Aniruddha Bose declined to vacate the Karnataka High Court's stay order without first hearing the defendants, including Shivakumar. The agency had petitioned the SC against an order of the Karnataka High Court, which in June ordered an interim stay on the CBI's probe against Shivakumar in connection with a disproportionate assets case.
