8:37Now PlayingIn a tragic incident in Ernakulam, Kerala, multiple explosions occurred at a Christian convention center during a prayer meeting of Jehovah's Witnesses. The incident claimed one life, and over 30 individuals sustained injuries, with several victims in critical condition. The explosion was reported around 9:30 AM during the final day of a three-day convention program. While the cause of the blast remains under investigation, the Kerala DGP confirmed that it was a low-intensity IED explosion. Both the National Investigation Agency (NIA) and National Security Guard (NSG) teams were dispatched to the scene. Health Minister Veena George has put district hospitals on high alert, and a special investigation team will be formed to probe the case.
