According to authorities, the area has been blocked off in order to find the attackers, and he has been taken to a hospital. A terrorist opened fire at point-blank range when Inspector Masroor Wani was visiting the Eidgah grounds in the downtown area. The attack involved the use of a police pistol. Following the targeted attack, the forces started an operation. 'Terrorists fired upon & injured Inspector Masroor Ahmad near Eidgah, Srinagar. He was immediately shifted to the hospital for treatment. Preliminary investigation reveals that a pistol was used in this terror crime.
