The ED has issued a summons to Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, who also serves as the AAP's national convener. He is required to provide his statement on November 2 regarding the Delhi excise policy case. Earlier, the CBI had questioned Kejriwal on April 16, during which he claimed that the case was fabricated, without any evidence, and was a result of political manipulation aimed at undermining the AAP. In the same case, two senior AAP leaders, Manish Sisodia and Sanjay Singh, are currently under trial and detained.
