On Wednesday night, the rescue operations at the Silkyara Tunnel collapse site in Uttarakhand had picked up steam. A group of fifteen medics and around thirty ambulances were waiting to arrive at the tunnel site in order to save the forty-one workers who had become trapped following the collapse on November 12.
