These construction workers are being recruited to be sent to Israel. Since the start of the war with Hamas, Israel has been facing a massive shortage of workers. However, the advertisement has been heavily criticized for considering sending Indians to a warzone. The advertisement came just after Minister of State for External Affairs V Muraleedharan told the Rajya Sabha on December 14 that the Centre has not held any discussions with Israel regarding a possible replacement of Palestinian labourers with Indian workers.
