Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has taken action against Air India and SpiceJet. The airlines have been issued a show cause notice by the DGCA for rostering non-CAT III compliant pilots during low-visibility conditions at Delhi airport. This decision comes after a high number of flight diversions were reported at Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi. The diversions were primarily attributed to the airlines' decision to roster pilots who were not trained to operate in low visibility.
