Party members of Hemant Soren held a protest outside his home today, threatening to obstruct ED officers from entering the Chief Minister's residence. Security surrounding the Chief Minister's residence and the Enforcement Directorate's zonal office in Ranchi has been stepped up in light of the demonstrations. In a letter dated January 13, the investigative agency requested that Soren be made available for interrogation in the matter between January 16 and January 20.
