Top News | Soon after the state's governing coalition party, Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM), urged on Sunday "strict legal action" against the CRPF for "excesses," police filed a formal complaint (FIR) against 500 employees for allegedly breaking administrative prohibition orders. A day after Chief Minister Hemant Soren was questioned by the Directorate of Enforcement for over seven hours regarding a money laundering case, the FIR was filed on Sunday night under sections 188 (disobedience to order by public servant) and 353 (assault or criminal force to deter public servant from discharge of his duty), among other sections.
