Top News | Rahul Gandhi's Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra has generated a lot of controversy, and it shows no signs of abating. The Congress party is scheduled to protest in many states on Tuesday over "planned" interruptions by the "BJP" to Gandhi's yatra in Assam, one day after members attempted to gherao the BJP's headquarters. With a night stop in Bishnupur, the yatra, which has already traversed five of the seven northeastern states, is expected to tour portions of Guwahati and Kamrup today. However, while it proceeded without incident through Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Manipur, and Nagaland, it caused great drama when it passed through North Lakhimpur and Sonitpur in Assam, which is administered by the BJP, on January 20 and 21, respectively.
