President Droupadi Murmu began the Budget Session of Parliament this morning by addressing a combined session of the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha. The President outlined the accomplishments of the Narendra Modi-led administration over the past ten years in her first speech to the joint session of the legislature in the new facility. The President made special note of the Ram Temple, stating that the long-standing dream to construct the temple at Ayodhya has come true. The President went on to say that because of the government's reforms, the Indian economy was growing at the proper rate and in the correct direction.
